Why Havana?

- Named for the area around Havana, Illinois, site of Middle Woodland (Hopewell time frame) period Rockwell Mound, you can read a little about it here. Heiro 06:52, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
Planning to add a section on community organization
[edit]I've been doing a lot of research on the Havana Hopewell for a history unit I'm teaching, and I think this article would benefit from a section on the three-level structure of Havana Hopewell communities.
