According to Bill Frindall on the radio, or perhaps TV, Plowden's 7-25 is, or was when Frindall said it, the record number of wickets taken in a single innings by the captain of a first-class side. I regret I cannot give the date of this remark. Esedowns (talk) 00:58, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
