Doubtful awards, cites needed
[edit]Only a couple of the demographics and the KIA list have cites – the rest of the article does not, but needs to, as there are problems with it:
- Commander and Captain have the same rank insignia? The images shown are from the US Armed Forces. Do they accurately represent those used by this department? Legally usable images of the actual rank and department insignia (badges, patches, etc.) would be good to have.
- I can't find any evidence of the awards shown, or their recipients. The ribbon bars shown are from various U.S. and foreign armed forces and civil agencies. It seems unlikely that they would copy them exactly. The recipient lists, once cited, should be moved into the awards section, not be separate level-2 sections.
- Organization structure and people in it seems likely to change. Is this really encyclopedic/useful? Would someone in China, Los Angeles, or Tampa really come to Wikipedia to see who the district 3 commander is, and rely on it, or would they go to the department's own website for the most accurate information?
