Merging this article with the UKIP article.

[edit]

I don't think UKIP has enough History right now to justify having a separate article dedicated to the history of UKIP.

I will be moving forward soon with a proposal to merge this article with the UKIP main article. Theprussian (talk) 17:50, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I think it is unnecessary to have two articles, firstly the main UKIP article and additional history of UKIP article. The main UKIP article already covers the history to a good standard. I also don't think there is enough history for UKIP as of yet to justify having an additional article specifically focusing on the history of UKIP. It is also unlikely to suggest that UKIP is going to have any major further historical developments. The past is largely well documented and it seems unlikely that UKIP will have any further noteworthy contributions to Politics due to their large scale decline as a political movement.

Even if it does have any further noteworthy contributions (zero votes in a by-election?) there is a big overlap in the content of the two pages, so support. Lovingboth (talk) 19:22, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
