The fictional aspect of this article isn't obvious. It starts of pretty realistic and doesn't have any reference to the manga or anime. It's safe to assume it really exists. Please edit it for normal people, not just nerds. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.107.138.173 (talk) 13:04, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hokuto no Ken vs Hokuto Shinken

[edit]

This article should address the ambiguities regarding the naming of Hokuto Shinken as Hokuto no Ken originally, and how it changed to the point where Hokuto Shinken and Hokuto no Ken are two different styles as shown in the Shin HnK OVAs.167.102.162.57 17:35, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, the new style in the OVA is Hokumon no Ken. Evan1975 05:25, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

--Bartery 05:20, 11 February 2007 (UTC)Yes, this description of the Hokuto fighting school is perhaps too long, and duplicates some of the Hokuto Shinken article.[reply]

Also, it only covers the plot from series one (nothing about Hokuto Ryu Ken, etc from second series).

Hokuto Shinken fighting styles are all covered in the Hokuto Shinken article.

Recommend that the history of the school as mentioned here be amalgamated with the Hokuto Shinken article.

The "Hokuto Ryuken" section at the bottom of this article is similarly a description of the tradition, not of its styles.

From the article: "Ryuken also trained a fifth student named Kim, whom he later expelled from his dojo after failing to meet his qualifications for successor." I never knew this! Source?23.16.152.103 (talk) 14:04, 19 December 2012 (UTC)BeeCier[reply]
