Cover art

[edit]

I noticed that this single didn't have any cover art, so using the internet, I found this one. It was even used at a release party for the song in Italy, so I assume that's legit, but some others say differently. Is this official or fake? Anyone know? Don't wanna put it in the article unless it's official. File:Holdtightmadonna.png Thanks! Carbrera (talk) 03:07, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Carbrera, if its not from an official source that we can link to, it is probably not real. As it is I have nominated that cover for deletion. Please remember we should not upload non-free covers for discussion, we can link to the source instead. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 11:25, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@IndianBio: Although I once believed the current cover art used on the page was real, I have strong reason to believe it is now just fanart. The information regarding the cover (Discogs source is "Unofficial", not to mention unreliable, while the remaining two sources likely got it from Discogs to begin with.) None of Madonna's social media accounts have ever used this cover to promote the single, furthering my estimate that this isn't a valid cover. To be honest, there likely isn't an official cover for this song, since a CD release never occurred. Carbrera (talk) 06:33, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You might be on to something with this Carbrera. Let me do some research myself. —IB [ Poke ] 08:19, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This artwork was posted by Roboblatte on March 1, 2015 on the 'Madonna FanMade Covers' blog. (http://madonnafanmadecovers.blogspot.com/search/label/Hold%20Tight) It is not official and I believe it should be deleted. MCMCTT (talk) 22:53, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@IndianBio: Pinging just in case you missed the most recent comment above, thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:04, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Single status

[edit]

How is this a single, exactly? It didn't have a physical release, and was only used as a radio promo in Italy. Even "Over and Over" is more notable, at least it had a physical release. Should be moved to promo singles, in my opinion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.116.179.91 (talk) 16:27, 2 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
