Great article. Any thoughts on creating one for the Baltimore lighthouse off the mouth of the Magothy River? It was the worlds first nuclear powered lighthouse in the 1950s. -- Stbalbach 16:53, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sure thing - I'll get onto it right away.
This is part, incidentally, of WikiProject Lighthouses, so we'll hopefully eventually get an article for every lighthouse in the country. --AlbertHerring 18:06, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I just happen to know about nuclear power trivia as I used to live right on-shore of the Lighthouse and saw it every day and would boat up to it occasionally. It's a pretty interesting bit of a trivia, who knew there were nuclear powered lighthouse, it's not anymore of course, that was back in the 50s and 60s when anything could be done. -- Stbalbach 21:36, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, that sounds really interesting. Amazing, the things that they used to put reactors in. I may just have to start an article on it. —smably 20:31, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That would be an interesting article. I think the USSR also had nuclear powered lighthouses (and probably a lot of other things). -- Stbalbach 02:57, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
