Merge

[edit]

Not notable enough, and too little info. I vote for a merger. Hurricanehink 19:47, 13 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This one is slightly more than a stub I think...if the impact section could be tripled with interesting information, it could live. Otherwise, no. Jdorje 20:07, 13 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I vote merge. No impact information exists beyond the basics. All the new information here could easily fit into the main article. -- §Hurricane ERIC§ archive -- my dropsonde 03:28, 14 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The article already says what is in the Tropical Cyclone report, and I doubt there is much more. The storm just didn't do that much. Hurricanehink 14:21, 16 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Added more information Storm05 18:19, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
All you did was add a death table, write the uncertainty of the death toll, and explained indirect/direct deaths. Still vote merge. Hurricanehink 22:09, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I concur. -- §Hurricane ERIC§ archive -- my dropsonde 14:26, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Todo 2

[edit]

It's pretty good so far. A copyedit is needed all around. Some sections could be elaborated further. For example, the Texas section. Was the rainfall directly from Dolly's outer bands, or was it from Dolly's moisture? Also, could you get some damage info? Hurricanehink (talk) 16:21, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, will review. Will211|Chatter 00:44, 4 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Review

[edit]
  • In the first caption you may want to clarify whether this is the first or second time Dolly is making landfall, since it made landfall twice.
  • "Throughout the Yucatán Peninsula, airports and port were closed"-I assume you meant airports and ports?
  • Under the Texas section, United States should be linked and Texas should probably be linked again.
  • Shouldn't Belize and the United States be added under the areas affected column in the infobox, since they had also been affected from the storm?
  • And just as a note, the first link in the external links section is dead.

Pretty well written, with only the minor points above needing fixing. Will place on hold for seven days. Will211|Chatter 03:14, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Very well, will pass article. Will211|Chatter 18:52, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
