I'll take a look later. Nova Crystallis (Talk) 04:07, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • "The depression became the seventh tropical storm of the annual hurricane season and was named Gert just hours later," Hours after it strengthened to a tropical storm?
  • "Once Gert was able to overcome that on August 14, however, strengthening resumed as Gert moved northwards, paralleling the United States coastline." Fragment at the beginning is missing something. So what did Gert do after it overcame?
  • "One fatality occurred in Nantucket, Massachusetts, and another in Ocracoke, North Carolina; in both instances, a swimmer drowned amid heavy surf." Change that to "Two fatalities occurred when two swimmers *The remnants being absorbed by another cyclone should be mentioned in the first paragraph of the lead.
  • Remove all mentions of what NHC did operationally.
  • Link Northern Ireland in the impact section.

That should be it. Nova Chrysalia (Talk) 12:15, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Should be done, thanks for the review. ~ KN2731 {tc} 04:09, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This storm did nothing notable. Yes, it’s sad 2 people died and yes, it did some damage, but like Tropical Storm Arthur (2020) it did nothing notable. I suggest this be merged with 2017 Atlantic Hurricane Season. 67.85.37.186 (talk) 21:02, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
