Commentary?

[edit]

Many of the other episodes I've read on Wikipedia note the significance to the overall plot arc. This article doesn't seem to note very much, and yet, while the plot isn't that vital, it's an insightful commentary on surrounding episodes. Obviously it hits on Buffy's "need" for boyfriends she's not right for or not ready for, but it also seems to hit on Spike's feelings for Buffy (e.g., the bit about the robot trying so hard to be perfect only to be rejected). First, is there a good way to add this to the page? Second, is there an external site that discusses it, to which we might add a link? (I'm not familiar with the Buffy fandom sites/forums/etc., or I'd hunt one down myself.) Thanks. Kilyle 10:25, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stalking?

[edit]

I was highly, highly disturbed by the speculation and guessing considering Buffy's quote and comparing her to stalking victims; I deleted it. This is a girl that can punch through a brick wall if need be. I felt it insulting to compare her situation to what real life people go through. I may have bucked Wiki tradition but I think I did the right thing. Lots42 14:25, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Technology

[edit]

I'm not sure if it's that tech is that advanced...wasn't there an in-canon reference that evil intentions just work better in Sunnydale? You know, that if Warren tried to build the crazy throttle-bot stalker robot girlfriend in Maine, it just wouldn't work. Lots42 (talk) 22:09, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Buffy515.jpg

[edit]

Image:Buffy515.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
