Hi, just wanted to say that this article is not enciclopedic and even wrong since that newspaper is not vatican and not neither paid by the vatican. Somebody should cancel this article or rewrite it.
POV edits
[edit]I've removed the following text, which is strongly POV and blatantly false
Il Foglio is a Vatican city newspaper. Giuliano Ferrara is paid directly by the pope to talk against abortion, women and gay rights. Giuliano Ferrara also dislikes women greatly and all that it is to do with women rights. The reason for this profound anger towards women can be traced back to a failed relationship. Giuliano Ferrara is currently aspiring to a political career and his newspaper will be opening the doors of the political establishment very soon.
I've also removed the following text, which is irrelevant in this article context
To publish a newspaper in the republic of Italy one only needs two signatures from very close parliamentary friends. This is what has happened in the mid 90s when a large amount of new newspaper were founded such as "Il Foglio". Even though it seems to help pluralism this new wave of newspapers have only given more voice to right wing anti-women,anti-abortionist, homophobic journalist and of course a greater voice to the already LOUD vatican.
I personally disagree with most of Giuliano Ferrara positions, but I don't think spreading false information is the right way to oppose him. 78.12.113.16 (talk) 17:02, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Ownership
[edit]I am adding information about the newspaper ownership (as of 2006), as it has been often questioned that "Il Foglio" is owned by Berlusconi. --Max-CCC (talk) 12:19, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
