[edit]

someone messed up my beautiful indy page by stating that the indy low was released in 2006. silly. it was released last year.

this pg needs editing for style, if not grammar

[edit]

I started to clean up the article's style and grammar but I realized that it's not mine to ndependent... ~nz —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lequis (talkcontribs) 17:17, 13 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Cites

[edit]

The article claims that Independents are considered the best trucks on the out there and Independent is only one of them. Indy's work well for some and not so well for others, so this is far too broad a claim as there is no concensus.

The reference link as an interview so it was merely someone's opinion, == origin of the logo? ==

My number 1 question is why they chose this logo for the company. I see it and I think of the Nazi Iron Cross. But this is within a circle, rounded, not sure where it comes from. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.173.25.221 (talk) 20:50, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

whats up guy's I'm Dave, the dude who wrote the original article about a year back. anyway, I'd just like to point out that the new indy 10 is not, contrary to popular thought, an indy stage 8 baseplate on a stage 9 hanger. for one thing, a stage 9 hanger in a stage 8 baseplate would destroy the pivot cap. for another, the fools at NHS inc. arent gonna use stage 8 plates; they're heavier, and the idea (to them) is to make venture light trucks, to sell to rat kids. logic aside, the fact is that there are no facts out there proving or even saying the stage 10 has 8's baseplate, so I'm taking it out.

stage X

[edit]

I forgot to add that, would recognize it as quite the opposite. pope john paul the second was wearing the cross on his clothes on the cover of time :33, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

I believe the technical term for that cross is the "Alisee" and is of French origin. —Preceding unsigned comment added by talk) 08:00, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Expansion

[edit]

As the leading truck company in the global skateboarding industry, it would be great to see this article expanded (for example, the team list is greatly insufficient, as the company has one of the largest teams in skateboarding, regardless of product). If anyone has in-depth knowledge of this company/brand, please feel free to come forward and contribute. Also, I have inserted the tags that I think are relevant at this stage in time.--Soulparadox (talk) 15:53, 16 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have added an "Expand section" template to the Team section, as the company has recently updated its team page and the list is extensive. I will try and complete the list in due course.--Soulparadox (talk) 19:25, 13 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
