Is this for real?

[edit]

The references given in this article are not easily verifiable, as none are online links and they are all either obscure journals or have pay-for online archives. There appears no trace of this show in any Internet searches. Is this article just a spoof? — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 17:55, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The above link is no longer valid. It has been moved to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Aviation/Archive 11#Industrial Airplane Show. And, yes, this is for real. The official history at https://www.autoshowny.com/experience/history/ has this description:

11TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW (1ST INTERNATIONAL AVIATION SHOW)

December 31, 1910

Location: Grand Central Palace
