Vineland Adaptation?
[edit]Anderson can't figure out how to make a script from Vineland? I could. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.9.59.139 (talk) 20:47, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
Tip of the hat
[edit]A tip of the hat to Geoffrey K. Pullum, who kindly suggested that "becomes confiscated" in an earlier version of this article should instead be "is confiscated".
Professor Pullum (if you are reading this), do please jump in and improve these solecisms yourself; but remember that here, comments are ON.
To the rest of us: GKP also says "don't shorten that plot summary". -- Hoary (talk) 13:53, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
- I tried to make to plot section more concise and the only detail I removed was the motive behind the dentist murder. If we want to improve the article and keep every detail, perhaps we should rewrite the entire section? The plot is quite complex and personally I feel like the article doesn't make a great job at explaining it. Heinerj (talk) 22:20, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
Plot Description?
[edit]Where is the following plot description shown in the movie, "Mickey Wolfmann is in the newspaper again, having returned to his previous state as a wealthy, money-driven businessman. One can infer that his trip to Chryskylodon helped him change his mind about giving away all his money, and was set up or encouraged by his wife to maintain her lifestyle."
I could not find it anywhere in the film. Could this be something mentioned in the novel which is being confused for the film? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:E:2680:3CD:65AC:4FDF:B668:2341 (talk) 11:44, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
Several things in the plot section seem to be out of order or plain wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.164.153.107 (talk) 06:44, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- I'm really not sure there was much sense to be made of the plot. A lot to catch the eye but not the mind AFAICS. 89.242.80.91 (talk) 19:28, 22 June 2023 (UTC)
