Sometimes "intercommunion" means allowing persons NOT in full communion to receive the eucharist. But that's not the present subject matter of this article. Currently it seems to be about the same topic that is treated at full communion. That's why I proposed this merger. Michael Hardy 04:21, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Besides, the information in the article is somewhat distorted, especially as regards the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church. I think Michael Hardy is so evidently right that I make bold to execute the merge, making this article simply a redirect to the minimal understanding of "full communion".
