Inuktut Uqausiit (Inuit Languages) in Canada

The distinctive names for the Inuit Uqausiit of Canada’s Arctic are:
- Inuvialuit region – Inuvialuktun and Iniunnaqtun (two major dialects)
- Nunavut region – Inuktitut and Inuinnaqtun (two major dialects)
- Nunavik region – Inuttitut or Inuktitut (Ungava Bay and Hudson Bay, respectively)
- Nunatsiavut – Inuttitut or Inuttut (one language, two interchangeable spellings).
