Sourcing

[edit]

Hello--I've done my best to source everything. I know that she was deleted before, but I hope I've proven that she meets notability guidelines for wikipedia. I'm still working on photos. Thanks!--Leo Nichols (talk) 05:41, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry to say it, but I'm lost on getting the photos to show up.--Leo Nichols (talk) 07:24, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Have you uploaded photos to Wikipedia or commons? See Help:Upload. —EncMstr (talk) 02:04, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for getting back to me. I did upload images to the commons, but I got the copyright info wrong. I think the article maybe needs more work content-wise than it need pictures, so I may just focus on improving the content instead. Or that may be contrary thinking. In any case, thanks! - Leo Nichols (talk) 20:25, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Irene Moon. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Page should not exist

Likely written by subject, citing own website MULTIPLE times. Not appropriate for Wikipedia. 2600:1017:B403:7969:8872:5B64:1432:7250 (talk) 18:17, 17 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Spoke with subject. Subject contends that subject has never edited page, even to correct obvious factual errors. Subject expressed bemusement at and appreciation of the many updates that have occurred over the years. In addition, notwithstanding needed references, which are the responsibility of the contributors, the public record on the subject, including multiple biographies by public institutions, numerous documented recordings or other sources, presentations, university websites, biographies, and peer-reviewed scientific publications [see e.g. Google Scholar] in dozens of academic venues, clearly document the details included here and many others not included. (for avoidance of any ambiguity, none of the edits or content additions are my own, and these comments are my own and were not reviewed by the subject). Numerous prominent public performances and recordings of the subject are not even included here (SF electronic music festival, numerous European tour venues, hundreds of US performances, recordings published by myriad venues [example: recordings with WFMU under the name “moth magnet”; multiple produced features for WFMU, which is a prominent independent NY area radio station; among many others], presentation in 2022 at the United Nations Science Summit, all well documented in the public domain via sources other than the subject. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.194.25.110 (talk) 05:45, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
