Background
[edit]I do feel as though more information could be added to the background of the Island and the native tripe. Also I fixed a citation that was not done correctly; some more could be added. --Fbingham7 (talk) 01:14, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
I feel that more detail could be added about the specifics of the island itself, other than the specific resettlement efforts and the environmental impacts. What was its economy and culture like pre-resettlement? — Preceding unsigned comment added by BorrisJBadanov (talk • contribs) 06:29, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
I believe the lead is well written and provides a great outline about this topic. In “background” i believe more information is needed about the tribe (they’re only just mentioned) and the community they established there (the current information is vague). Also, I feel that more details on the island itself is needed, what life is like on this small ridge, its geography and climate, if they’re self-sufficient or do the conditions on the ridge necessitate dependence on nearby locations and/or entities/institutions. Further, I believe a map image of the land is necessary so the reader can see its geographic locations and features. In the “community resettlement efforts” section there is a lot of information covered, but the first two paragraphs do not have citations. i believe there needs to be a source listed at least after the second paragraph to indicate verification of that information. the author did a great job with referencing sources and including hyperlinks in the third and fourth paragraphs of the “community resettlement efforts” section, but again this is needed in the first two paragraphs and especially in the second paragraph. Could use more detail on why government (federal or state) isn't supporting flood mitigation and land restoration. ClarkEJ163 (talk) 18:56, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
POV bias
[edit]This article has too much POV bias in it...such as the allegations that people worried about falling property values="racism". This article needs to be more objective and present the facts neutral, not push POV bias.Ryoung122 21:18, 1 November 2018 (UTC)
