What's is it actually made to do

[edit]

What is it's purpose? 2600:8804:1E80:16A0:E0BE:76E5:AA75:21A8 (talk) 14:18, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's not actually made to do any one thing or serve any single purpose...
A wide range of boron products (when first invented and patented in 1963);
Countless more industrial products for example - including polymers, rust inhibitors, epoxy resin Pimprncess (talk) 11:16, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Citations are bad

[edit]

Majority of the citations are bunk or do not even discuss N-isopropylbenzylamine. One citation which does discuss N-isopropylbenzylamine directly contradicts the later sentence regarding toxicity. The citation states plainly that N-isopropylbenzylamine is benign and causes no negative effects.

Anecdotal reports are invalid. Making a claim on alleged negative symptoms of this compound with the only citation being anecdotal and a journal that has been universally discredited for fabricating studies for cash are not good enough. It should state that N-isopropylbenzylamine is not known to have negative health impacts, but it may be pose a health risk. Methamphetanonymous (talk) 00:57, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bad intent, Reddit post discussing Wikipedia editing this page

[edit]

Specifically the poster mentions a desire to quote one "HeisenbergSpecial". This Redditor is the original and oldest reference to N-isopropylbenzylamine being used as a methamphetamine cutting agent in a widespread manner. This user clearly has an agenda, and may have been the individual who began this shakey claim to begin with Methamphetanonymous (talk) 01:11, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
