Disputed Nonfactual information

[edit]

Some information is flat out wrong, such as the whole concept of it being a Bishōjo game company. One quick look at it's website shows that it is distributing Saya no Uta which is not a Bishōjo game. Something like a Visual novel translator and distributor would be better. This article may need a complete rewrite. Spillednick (talk) 09:11, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree that the information is wrong. They are clearly a distributor of bishōjo games, and looking at their website shows that most of what they distribute is bishōjo games. While they distribute a few other titles, that doesn't mean the information is wrong. Why not just add a sentence saying that they also distribute a few other visual novels besides bishōjo games, rather than tagging the article as inaccurate. Other potential sources

[edit]

I found an interview by Japanator [1], which is a reliable source according to WP:A&M/RS. There are also other artciles on Anime News Network, many of which are just press releases, but some of which are actual news stories (e.g. [2]). Those could be used to add additional information to the article. I didn't do a thorough search for sources, so there may be more out there. Also, I want to mention that the parent company J-List has an article, so it might be possible to merge the two (though I'm not proposing that unless one or the other isn't notable enough on its own). Peter Payne

[edit]

The link for the founder of JAST USA, Peter Payne, currently brings readers to a biographical article on a 14th century theologist. I would humbly suggest one of the following steps should be taken:

  • the link is removed, as it does not accurately represent the person in question and no article for that person currently exists
  • a disambiguation page is created, with a short blurb to distinguish the two individuals
  • a separate biographical article is created about the Peter Payne in question, and the link updated to reflect the correct page

If I recall, Peter Payne's notability is solely limited to JAST USA etc, so it's not like he needs his own article. I removed the link to the other guy of the same name because none of the subsidiary pages link to anyone. Tuxide (talk) 11:36, 21 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

FYI. The Private Nurse hyperlink links to a film instead of a game. BlackDahlia94 (talk) 15:55, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
