Hawaiian Flyers 1945

[edit]
Hickam Field Honolulu,Oahu Hawaaian Islands, 1945 Jack Jacobs led the FLYERS coached by Major Harry Gamage to an undeafeated & untied season. Not only was Jacobs the spark plug on offense but was also a great punter. I write this to fill in a gap in regard to his playing career. One of his teammates was my father,Bob Witt, who caught at least one TD pass from Jacobs. Notables on the team are Martin Ruby,Bill Dudley,Jack Russell,Pete Layden,Andy Marefos,

Harry Buffington. I have in my possession pictures, articles, & programs in regard to Jacobs & the Flyers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.180.4.247 (talk) 15:42, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Creek or Cherokee?

[edit]

The article states that Jack was Creek, which is supported by this source.

However this source says Cherokee.

Can someone do some research so we can track down which is correct?--S Philbrick(Talk) 15:12, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
