Rating

[edit]

I have given this article a B grade as it contains what I believe to be a significant amount of information available on this character. Given the character's length in the show (currently the longest serving who is still active), he is an intergral part of Emmerdale, and hence I feel the article deserves to be of mid-importance. Accuracy

[edit]

I have removed inaccurate information on the fire that killed Sarah Sugden and updated the page with correct details. Smurfmeister —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smurfmeister (talkcontribs) 10:14, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Killed off?

[edit]

I suppose he'll be killed off now. Keep an eye out for mention of that (probably a throwaway line, since it'll be off-screen) and for a dedication to the actor. Digifiend (talk) 11:06, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Possible overuse of non-free images

[edit]

Per WP:NFCC, each use of a copyrighted image needs to be justified. The rationales on the image pages need to address exactly why an image should be used as against text, and so far, my impression is that some of them are purely decorative, which is not a proper use of fair-use images. Please address this ASAP. --Rodhullandemu 18:28, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Images again

I see nobody's looked at this; however, I don't think the image of Sugden as a ghost is appropriate in the infobox. First, it's meant to be representative of the character so as to allow easy identification to readers, and the one I've replaces it with achieves this. Second, the "ghost" image is too dark to be of much use anyway and whereas it may convey some information at the end of the article, it's too poor to be used in the infobox.
