Fair use rationale for Image:Jam.jpg

[edit]

Image:Jam.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:49, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Urban legend?: Michael's trick shot

[edit]

I read somewhere that the trick shot that Michael Jackson does in the video is NOT done with special effects - that it took 260 shots over nine hours of shooting and two different days. According to the story, MJ had the shooting crew do take after take, and they were understandably bored. His intention was to throw it backwards and score, which he couldn't do after 258 takes. The crew adjourned for the day, came back the next, and MJ tried throwing it backwards once. Some people in the crew started teasing him, and then, he tried to be show-offish and tried kicking it with the back of his heel. The shot did go through the hoop, as a mere fluke, and even MJ couldn't believe it. That's the story. Might be an urban legend... please confirm... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.64.0.252 (talk) 12:51, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've heard this same exact story about Sigourney Weaver's backwards-facing swish from Alien Resurrection. It's a good thing the camera's always rolling when they actually DO make it, always. I wonder how many brute-force luck-shots finally get made off-camera... 107.8.186.144 (talk) 06:17, 26 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Korg Wavestation factory preset

[edit]

Is it worth mentioning that this song's beat, is primarily a factory preset loop from the Korg Wavestation synthesizer, named 'Pharoah's Jig'? Beingsshepherd (talk) 03:13, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Beingsshepherd[reply]

Jam only rehearsed in This Is It

[edit]

I just saw a video that talks about Jam only being rehearsed in This Is It but was taken out due to a long setlist. Here's the video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyhcomSb9SA — Preceding unsigned comment added by Connor Marini (talkcontribs) 00:48, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
