on http://www.garrisonjazz.com/Jimmy%20Garrison.html it says that this musician was born in 1933. The web site seems to be written by the family of Garrison. We must verify the information for his birth date.

The article indicates that Garrison played on Coltrane's album My Favorite Things, but Steve Davis was actually the bassist on that album. See My Favorite Things (album) and also the allmusic.com page for My Favorite Things 216.231.36.92 22:50, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
