Opening heading
[edit]There is another John Laird (1887-1946), a philosopher (in the school of New British Realism and then later turned to metaphysical idealism) & author of The Idea of Value (1929), Knowledge, Belief, and Opinion (1930) & Theism and Cosmology (1942). Someone should help with a disambiguation and new article. Nagelfar 09:32, 28 October 2005 (UTC)

John Laird → John Laird (shipbuilder) — I see no compelling reason for this article to take precedence over all of the other John Laird articles. This page should simply be the DAB page. Cgingold (talk) 02:03, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- Support with corresponding move of John Laird (disambiguation) to John Laird. Tassedethe (talk) 13:39, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
