[edit]

Is this by any chance the same John Stevenson who worked for Merlin magazine in the 50's? That might be part of his "journalism" experience. I ask because I am trying to find out if he is also the same John Stevenson who wrote under the pen name Marcus Van Heller ?

As one clue I read an interview with Van Heller saying his (then yet unpublished) autobiography was titled "The Marcus Van Heller Legend" but the only reference to that title I have found is an article by that exact name in the now defunct Zembla magazine (Issue #6)[1] but I have not been able to find a copy of that yet.

Another (less helpful) clue is that in another interview[2] Van Heller said he worked for the British Civil Service ("... press officer for the Central Office of Information.") after returning to the UK from France. Did the Stevenson of this article do that ? 159.83.196.1 (talk) 22:25, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

They are different people. The one who wrote under the pen name Marcus van Heller is John Stevenson (writer). Yarikata (talk) 12:24, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
