J&J is not a common nickname

J&J should redirect to the disambiguation page as it is not a common nickname for Johnson and Johnson. I believe it is just confusing. A cursory Google search shows not only that Johnson & Johnson uses "J&J" to refer to the business, but multiple respected business publications also refer to J&J, especially in article headers:

Fully concur with Grand'mere Eugene. The J&J nickname is widely used for the company and is well-known in American news media and popular culture, just as Disney is widely used for the Walt Disney Company. --Coolcaesar (talk) 06:53, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As shown, "J&J" actually has common usage in reporting. I assume that your confusion stems from the fact that nobody (or very few people at least) refers to the company as "J&J" in speech. So you're not incorrect to notice that people don't typically say "J&J". But in this case, the usage is based on written communication, particularly reporting/press releases, not on everyday spoken communication. pillowcrow 21:36, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
