General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Nominated on creation day, 3277 B as of now. Earwig reaches 21.3%, but this is due to quotes. Lifespan should be added per MOS:FIRSTBIO (same for a separation between a lede and the broader bio), but think of these as optional suggestions. ミラP@Miraclepine 03:56, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Middle name in infobox

[edit]

@GiantSnowman: What's the rationale for not including the middle name? Doesn't the infobox push out metadata? Why exclude the middle name from that? voorts (talk/contributions) 17:55, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It should not be in the header, that is for the article title only.t GiantSnowman 17:57, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why though? The template documentation says middle initials should be included in the name parameter, but doesn't say middle names should be excluded. voorts (talk/contributions) 18:05, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Pinging @GiantSnowman. voorts (talk/contributions) 16:05, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Because that is how it's done. See e.g. on Bill Clinton (and every other article out there...) GiantSnowman 16:57, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
