Inaccurate Translation

[edit]

The English article is inaccurate and very incomplete in its translation of the article in the French Wikipedia.

Julie-Victoire Daubié did not become the first female university graduate in France when she became a Bachelier ès Lettres in 1861: since 1808 that had been the national university entrance examination (i.e. the school leaving examination). She became the first female graduate when she became a Licencié ès Lettres in 1871, but she had studied externally, since women were not yet allowed into French universities.
