Change to British English

[edit]

While Canada uses both American and British English, Canada mainly uses British English so I think we should change all of the American spelling words in this page into British, should we since Canada mainly uses British English? 219.77.28.65 (talk) 03:00, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The article is correctly written in Canadian English, which uses some British spelling, and some USA spelling. Mediatech492 (talk) 03:14, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Trudeau official portrait?

[edit]

Can Wikipedia just put Justin Trudeau’s official portrait similar to what Wikipedia does with Australia’s and United Kingdom’s prime minister Wikipedia articles? 142.113.194.22 (talk) 01:08, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It’s literally right here https://www.pm.gc.ca/en/about it doesn’t make sense to me why his official portrait isn’t used 142.113.194.22 (talk) 01:23, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I could of sworn his official portrait showed him with a beard. I guess it must have changed? Regardless, I believe there are some copyright reasons as to why official portraits aren't uploaded and used for Canadian politicians, unlike just about every other country. This includes all the portraits for all members of Parliament. – Handoto (talk) 18:43, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Correct copyright problem as we need a commercial copyright release. PMO commercial copyright says...."Unless otherwise specified, reproduction of materials on the Prime Minister of Canada’s website, in whole or in part, for the purposes of commercial redistribution is prohibited except with written permission from the Privy Council Office (PCO).
