Digital Channel

[edit]

In every other article the digital subchannels are put on the same page as the main channel. This makes KBJR-DT2 out of place. I have no real opinion either way whatever it will be Wikipedia needs to decide on a format and stick with it cross the board. It is unfair to allow KBJR two articles to other people's one since KBJR and Wikipeida do have links which produce revenu

Meaning of KBJR

[edit]

KBJR was owned by Robert (Bob) J. Rich for many years. In fact, it was Mr. Rich who sold the station to Granite Broadcasting. The callsign KBJR was a combination of the letters making up Mr. Rich's name. KBJR = K B for Bob J (his middle initial) and R for Rich is last name. KBJR = Bob J Rich. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.54.167.229 (talk) 05:39, 15 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Kbjr988 psa.jpg

[edit]

Image:Kbjr988 psa.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:13, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Northland's NewsCenter

[edit]
I merged Northland's NewsCenter to KBJR-TV because of the article naming policy. KBJR-TV is Northland's NewsCenter. It's basically just KBJR's newsteam, not some regional news organization. It's just a naming game used by the current ownership to hide the fact that there is no news organization at KDLH. Don't make it bigger then it is. As a matter of fact, the entire Northlands Newscenter newsroom combined is smalled by about 10 bodies then it's only remaining competitor is WDIO-TV (until KQDS-TV began doing news again)--milk the cows (Talk) 23:31, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Northern News Now

[edit]

In September 2022, KBJR's NBC and CBS divisions formed "Northern News Now," no longer referring to themselves as KBJR 6 or CBS 3 Duluth. Should images of those logos still be on the infobox and shouldn't the Northern News Now logo be the prominent image? Superior-wisconsin (talk) 05:26, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
