Rationale for deletion of disambiguation page

[edit]

Per the WP:Disambig page, "If only a primary topic and one other topic require disambiguation, then disambiguation links are sufficient, and a disambiguation page is unnecessary." Since the radio station call letters are the primary identification and the ICAO code reference to an airport is a secondary identification, a hat note is sufficient and requires no more steps than would a disambiguation page for people seeking the airport. It's not about which subject is more famous, just that the radio station is primarily identified by this name while the airport is primarily identified by its full name with the ICAO code only a secondary reference to that airport. - Dravecky (talk) 23:56, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

More info please

[edit]

Could we get more info on "Super Estrella 101.7" as it is known? Maybe also should upload a graphic with the logo. That would be a good idea. - Pernambuco 19:54, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

They have changed the branding name 3 times in the past year!

[edit]

As strange as that might sound, its true. The station still plays spanish pop but got bought in August by Libermann and the name "SuperEstrella 101.7" changed to "Concíerto 101.7" and then just this Saturday it changed again to "XO 101.7" meaning the romantic music of our generation. So yea, there need to be an image of the station's branding name logo but there is one small delay. In order to get a logo, a person needs to ask permission to Libermann for a right to use their logo. This is by rules of Wikipedia stating that you can't use other's images which are copyright and one must have a right to place them on here. In this case the branding name logo of "XO 101.7".

Italic textIn other information: The page is getting now filled with more information and need to be organized and gramatically revised minimally. It is prefered that the station's history be at the top and current station information at the bottom of the article. More specifically: The history of the radio dial should be in the first paragraphs in cronological order and depending on their relation. The name branding changes should be put in individual paragraphs and organized and explain why the station's branding name was changed. Lastly, programing information and other information involving what is heard on the radio station and other current information relating to that.
