Comment

[edit]

This seems to be written in a non-encyclopaedic way - it sounds like it was taken out of TV Quick or something (although I accept it probably wasn't). Perhaps this could be re-written in a more factual style. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.201.69.119 (talk) 22:59, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The image File:Katie and Jo catfight.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Emmerdale character articles; invitation to discussion

[edit]

I've begun a discussion regarding the atrocious state of character articles within the Emmerdale universe. These articles stand to be deleted unless corrective action is taken. Please join the conversation at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Emmerdale#Serious problems across the board; let's start with character articles. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 16:00, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sam and Jodie Addyman

[edit]

According to this page, Katie has a brother called Sam and a sister called Jodie. Has it actually been confirmed whether these characters even exist onscreen or is it just a mistake by the person who set up the page.92.232.245.253 (talk) 19:22, 17 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Surname

[edit]

Yet again this article has undergone an undiscussed name change. Just because a character changes their name on-screen does not necessarily mean it should be changed here. The majority of the character's storylines have occurred while her name has been Sugden, which I believe is also her WP:COMMONNAME. I think this article needs to be moved back or at least further discussion. - JuneGloom Talk 00:39, 5 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I saw nothing on this talk page that suggested that a move might be controversial. Nor was there anything less than a year old in the move logs for Katie Addyman, Katie Macey or Katie Sugden which suggested that there had been recent move-and-revert. --Redrose64 (talk) 13:04, 5 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Death

[edit]

She wasn't accidentally killed by Robert. He was angry and would not let her leave. This was manslaughter at the least. More likely murder. I know some get obsessed with gay storylines/characters and don't want to think of gays leaving the soaps but please let's not downplay what vile Robert did. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.18.198.10 (talk) 21:48, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
