ALT1-a: ... that, in hopes of gaining good luck, six girls from the Alantaya area were married to Khun Tan, a layman who claimed to be the future Buddha?

ALT1-b: ... that Khun Tan, a young guy, is worshipped as a bodhisattva in the Alantaya religious area?

  • I think it's best if we put this article out of its misery by rejecting the nomination. The list of things wrong with this subject is long and I really don't know where to begin. I will say, this doesn't mean it can't be on DYK, but it needs to be rewritten and updated with current sources, as the most recent source in the article is from 6 years ago with open ended claims still unresolved. I think the nominator means well, but the article needs so much work at this point, that rejecting the nomination is the best we can do. Viriditas (talk) 10:32, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
