Copy edit template

[edit]

I am readding the copy-edit template, which was inappropriately removed without discussion here or mention in edit summaries. My concern with the excessive verbosity of the article was not addressed. The placement of a copy-edit template is in no way a value judgement, but an internal WP feature intended to draw the attention of other editors. Revent (talk) 21:14, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Regardless of the article length, it also needs copyediting of statements such as "He is currently taking up B.S. Communications Technology Management at the Ateneo de Manila University", which isn't really standard english. "He is currently studying" would be correct. Please review WP:NOTEVERYTHING. Revent (talk) 22:21, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Also WP:NOTSTATSBOOK. Revent (talk) 23:30, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar and sources

[edit]

Do you people love the preposition on too much? Anyways I corrected some grammar but then I realized that most of the material comes from unreliable sources (tumbler, twitter, youtube, various blogs, etc.), so I suggest that better sources are provided if the material is to be kept. Detail and POV

[edit]

I did the personal life and high school sections...I may come back and do more, but welcome the help of others. There's definitely a lot of cutting to be done--sources must meet WP:RS, phrasing must be neutral, and we must not include trivia or other excessive detail.
