POV

[edit]

"In addition to being an architectural masterpiece, KKIA – with its more than 500,000 square metres of landscaping – greenery is the Kingdom’s green oasis."

Please... this is an encyclopedia, not a brochure! ... We only need the facts. Much of this article needs to be re-written in a suitable editorial tone. Jaw101ie 21:25, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to editorialize current content by removing flourish context words and replacing perspective phrases to a more encyclopedia type of wording. There is so much good information for measurements and statistic, it may need a bit more work but for the time, unless I missed anything it might be acceptable. I can tell you it is one hell of a place. There are tons of things not even listed such as huge worker compounds and the fact that the place has two separate fire houses. Hmm maybe I will add that. It's just fine now I think. It really is a place that deserved all the accolades in the article though. Making it too dull would be just as wrong. 68.18.30.95 07:55, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Making it too POV is wrong as well.--AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 13:45, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the statement about the parking facilities being "among the best in the world" as this is appears to be more opinion than fact. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thunderbuck ram (talkcontribs) 07:51, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pointless Info

[edit]

I removed sections under Mosque and Landscaping. There were so many details that are not necessary for this type of article. Examples: irrigation system, tree nursery, the number of steps in the mosque, etc. All we need is a general description of the mosque and landscaping. Personally, I think the landscaping section is pointless as well since most airport articles on wikipedia don't go into detail about their landscaping designs. This article was obviously written by someone connected to the airport.--AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 14:09, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Riyadh airport.jpg

[edit]

Image:Riyadh airport.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
