I have no idea what I'm talking about. I'd appreciate it if a fan could improve this page.

I know nothing about editing wikipedia but Klashnekoff is certainly notable within the UK. He has been interviewed in the major UK hiphop magazines, appeared on bbc radio, sold a relatively large number of records and is reviewed/interviewed on websites such as www.ukhh.com and www.rwdmag.com 129.11.199.181 21:34, 11 January 2007 (UTC) raf[reply]

Er. Hey. I'm a guest. But whoever has put this up for deletion on the grounds not being notable is plain wrong, and should stick to the music they know. Klashnekoff is one of the most notable UK rappers at the moment, if not the most notable. I'm not the one to do it, I have no idea when it comes to editing wikipedia pages, but somebody in the know should sort this out.86.140.147.206 21:22, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree completely. Although I'm a fan, I don't know enough to make an article on him (hence my request above). Powelldinho 22:05, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

K-Lash has been on the cover of Hip Hop Connection twice, which should pass him for notability anyway. Added to the fact that he is " the most prominent representative of a notable style or of the local scene of a city" insofar as he's usually regarded as the finest proponent of his particular rap style, and he's been a-listed on 1Xtra meaning he meets criterion for "Has been placed in rotation nationally by any major radio network", then I would say that he's fully notable enough Journalis 15:54, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Very true. So.....could someone actually write this article then? Powelldinho 16:05, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Klashnekoff is the subject of a half-page interview in today's Guardian - http://music.guardian.co.uk/urban/story/0,,2024183,00.html. I think that probably settles the notability issue. Soon I'll come back and expand the article, unless someone beats me to it. Efortune 19:22, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Surely the D.O.B of Jan 1970 is wrong. K-Lash doesn't look 37 years old. Maybe 81 is more likely.

Edited the 'problems' bit - not sure that 'has a massive dong' adds much to the article. Veganchyk 10:36, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unencyclopedic

[edit]

Why is there a passage on it's murda??? This could be on a page about violence related to hip hop, but not on klashnekoff's encyclopdia page, and those particular lyrics are in no way violent, most of the line is metaphorical, and this can be proved when as explicitly says RHYMES. This kind of metaphore is often used by rappers in lyrics to say they are better than the other person.

"I'm not ready to die but ever ready for bury a guy They're not ready for I I can see the fear in they eye Scared of the rhymes that ricochet and tear them inside N fear for they lives"

This passage is also an awful representation of what the section is trying to portray, let me highlight a bit.

"Scared of the rhymes that ricochet and tear them inside"

I hope this shows that he is taking about his "rhymes" and not any kind of violence. Also this passage should only be used if somebody with significance has explictly related these lyrics to violence, with a reference. But I should delete it now.
