"Koma(高麗)" doesn't mean Korea.
[edit]"Koma(高麗)" means only Koguryo. 219.160.60.110 (talk) 04:59, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
Koma means Koguryo in Japanese. In which it means Korguryo Kingdom was Korean Kingdom. Not chinese or japanese. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Commonsensepedia (talk • contribs) 14:42, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't "Koma" mean lion? Booger-mike (talk) 20:00, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
- No, it refers to the Korean Kingdom mentioned above. Osarusan (talk) 02:05, 19 July 2019 (UTC)

Format
[edit]I think it's also formatted as "Koma inu". Or, at least it is on Yokai.com Booger-mike (talk) 20:02, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
- There's not really a "correct" way to format it. You can say komainu, koma inu, koma-inu, koma'inu. It just depends on the writer's personal preference. Whether a spacer is inserted or not is really just to make it easier to read correctly in Latin characters. Osarusan (talk) 02:05, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
