Strange phraseology and 'Black 5' name

[edit]

The article contains the sentence "The owner of the scrapyard, A.E. Draper saved the engine, merely that it was the cleanest engine in the yard." This looks as if it is a quote from somewhere with a phrase missing after 'engine,' such as 'not because it was particularly notable but ...'. A Google search finds plenty of hits all of which seem to be quoted from the WP article. In the absence of any reference this seems to need a 'citation needed' tag and preferably rephrasing.

This model of engine is widely know as a 'Black 5' among rail enthusiasts but it's hard to add this to the preamble as it stands. treesmill (talk) 17:04, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
