Hi! This is a great piece and generally very informative. I think the audience can develop a better sense of law enforcement in Tanzania if several of the below topics are covered: "structure", "history", "function", "discussion and critique"

For the structure section, I will draw on generic information from government reports and published memos to show what are the different branches of law enforcement in Tanzania and how their routine duties.

For the history section, I will draw on academic works such as yours to lay out the evolution of law enforcement in Tanzania, from the indigenous institutions of social control to the colonial state to the postcolonial period.

For the function section, I will juxtapose the government reports with news reports and other more vernacular sources to elucidate both the law enforcement operations on paper and their de facto implementation on the ground level.

For the "discussion and critique" section, I would draw on public opinion polls, articles, and academic works to evaluate the historical and contemporary discussions of law enforcement in Tanzania. Charlea Pei 01 (talk) 22:45, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
