Vacancy
[edit]Apparently there is no mechanism for filling this office if it is vacated? When Denn succeeded Beau Biden as Attorney General, the Senate was presided over by a president pro tem, but seemingly no one became Lieutenant Governor, "acting", "interim" or otherwise? Is this correct? If so, it is similar to Vice President of the United States prior to the ratification of the 25th Amendment in that when the Vice President succeeded to the Presidency, then no one was Vice President until the next election. If this is the case, the article probably should explicitly state this.2600:1004:B1C0:741A:0:0:1D6B:5F01 (talk) 15:16, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
