This was started by someone as a list of ALA-accredited schools, and I did find such a list online, but the ALA seems to mainly accredit masters degree programs, not schools, per se. So I'm wondering if the list should be renamed to say "programs" instead of "schools".

The ALA site has a several lists of accredited programs, some of which are listed by school and some of which include past accreditations. I believe we should add a section to our list for formerly accredited programs.

Lastly, since ALA does a good job maintaining its own lists, I'm wondering if having our own poorly maintained list is really necessary. —mjb (talk) 18:56, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
