OVA eps

[edit]

I hope you'll add episodes for the three OVAs as well. The English titles at least can be found on Anime News Network as well. Munin (talk) 17:50, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I will :) AnmaFinotera (talk) 17:57, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nice! It had been two days so I almost got bold, but I'm glad I waited! Munin (talk) 13:21, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No prob :) This list is very much still a work in progress since the main article didn't really have a list to speak of. I'm still trying to find the Japanese names of the OVAs...for some reason Studio Pierrot made episode lists for the main series and Eikoden, but not the other two OVAs. *doh* AnmaFinotera (talk) 15:10, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

episode summary

[edit]

Are these episode summaries accurate enough? -Malkinann (talk) 04:48, 6 February 2008 (UTC) episode 1 Miaka and Yui talk about what schools they want to take the exams for. Yui is a genius, whereas Miaka is more average, but Miaka wants to try for the tough exam to please her mother. Miaka and Yui go to the national library. Miaka sees a red pheonix and follows it into a room, where a book falls off the shelf. Yui finds her and they read the book's warning - anyone who reads it will become the protagonist. They are sucked into the book and nearly kidnapped by slavers, but a young man with the character for "demon" on his forehead rescues them. He then asks them for money, but they don't have any. Yui disappears in a flash of red light, and reappears back in the real world. She sits down and reads the book. Miaka tries to find the man with "demon" on his forehead, as she believes he kidnapped Yui. She catches a ride to the city, which looks like it's from ancient China. She tries to buy some food with yen, but has to run away. She asks everyone about the man with "demon" on his forehead, but only calls attention to herself. Some men try to rape her, she fights back but is overpowered. The man with "demon" on his forehead rescues her.[reply]

episode 2 Miaka asks the man about Yui, but he doesn't know anything about her disappearance. She asks him to help her look for Yui. He initially refuses, as she has no money. They see the emperor's palaquin parading through the city and Miaka runs up and asks the emperor for an ornament to fund their journey. The emperor's guards attack Miaka, and the man saves her again. She asks him about the money, but he soothes her and takes his payment - kissing her on the forehead. He tells her his name is Tamahome. Miaka emits a red light from her body and begins to vanish. Slipping into space between the two worlds, she sees Yui reading the book. She returns to the world of the Four Gods. The emperor commands that they be captured. She has a bad dream and wakes up in a cell with Tamahome. She chews some bubblegum, and it frightens the guard, so they escape. Miaka is separated from Tamahome, and meets Hotohori, who she assumes is a beautiful woman. Miaka tells Hotohori that she isn't from this world, and she wants to find Tamahome and get home. Tamahome is recaptured, but Hotohori orders them to be freed - Hotohori is a man, and the Emperor. He asks Miaka to become the Priestess of Suzaku and to save their country. In return she will get the power to fulfil her dearest wishes. Miaka, thinking of the tough exams, agrees.

Yes, those should work, though Miaka also thought about food and dating first LOL. I've added an intro and done a little more work, but I think I'll call it a night for any more heavy editing. If you want to add the episode summaries for the ones you've seen, don't forget to wikify characters' names to the list the first time they appear (if they are in the list) :) I suspect that once all of the summaries are done, along with intros and stuff, we may have to split this into three lists, but for now its easier to work with it as one. :) AnmaFinotera (talk) 04:53, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I just find it's funny that saving a whole country is easier than taking the high school entrance exams!!! -Malkinann (talk) 05:01, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, but saving the whole country includes being surrounded by gorgeous men who are proclaiming their love ;) AnmaFinotera (talk) 05:06, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
