"Okay, why is Strong Bad the only character..."
[edit]Okay, why is Strong Bad the only character with his own page? There is plenty of stuff to say about every other main character. Why did all those pages get deleted in the first place? Trinculoid (talk) 18:40, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
Strong Bad is by far the most popular character of the series. The others were deemed not notable. You can appeal the deletion of the other articles, but I doubt it would pass. Also, please start a new section for your comments instead of just writing at the top of the page. --Marcus Brute (talk) 08:54, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- I believe Homestar is as deserving of an article as Strong Bad is. – Homestar-winner 21:21, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
- yeah me too. I mean jeez, the Janitor from Scrubs has his own page. why not the main character of his own web comic? especially if the co-star antagonist already does? of course I know he's more popular than Homestar but that doesnt mean that Homestar doesn't deserve full representation as weel being the second favorite.Madhatter9max (talk) 08:34, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- I think all of them ought to be together in one page. And if Strongbad is going to have his own, then Homestar needs his own. Period. --Ragemanchoo82 (talk) 02:49, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- Could be because Strong bad is more popular (even though the series is named after Homestar).65.215.94.13 (talk) 16:57, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

so what if he is?! does that mean we only crate pages for the most popular? even if the runner-up is only a little less popular? Madhatter9max (talk) 02:38, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
{Hmstrrnnr (talk) 17:59, 31 July 2009 (UTC)} Homsar should have his own page! I mean, on HRwiki, he has his own FREAKING page [1], complete with an analysis of his speech patterns!!!!!!!
{User:trogdor31 18:32, 6 March 2009 (UTC)} Almost every character has a page on hrwiki. The whole point of the wiki is to give info on HR related subjects that aren't covered elsewhere. There is a page about use of disconnected telephones in the cartoons. [2]
{User:HSRules 07:14, 12 April 2013 (EST)} Could someone make a page about Homestar? Could I make it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.83.19.96 (talk)
The Cheat
[edit]It just hit me that the definite article form of address for "The Cheat", and indeed the design of The Cheat are probably influenced by the "Thimble Theater" (aka "Popeye") character Eugene The Jeep, who is often just called "The Jeep". Does anyone know if this is the case, and documented somewhere? If so, I think it merits a mention in his description. Also, why no mention of "The Cheat Commandos"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.93.227.59 (talk) 05:21, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
Overrationalizing?
[edit]The humor of HR is supposed to be surrealistic and mostly nonsensical. Does one really have to try to explain how Homestar can operate without a pair of arms? OK, maybe they ARE invisible, but that misses the point entirely. I would make the section on Homestar, for example, less of a scientific analysis of his character, and more biographical. I just don't know enough about HR to do it myself. 72.225.230.254 (talk) 21:50, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
Other pictures
[edit]Is there a reason there aren't any pictures of any of the characters besides HR? Kehrbykid (talk) 01:25, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Rejected characters?
[edit]Should we add the rejected characters in Homestar Runner on this article? I was thinking to do so. I AM BATMAN. (talk) 7:14, 27 June 2013 (EST)
