Other Religious Groupings

What are the criteria for inclusion on this list? There's not many references, so it's hard to know how these people thought of themselves. E.g. Mortimer J. Adler converted to Christianity. Under most definitions he should be taken off the list; at the very least this should be noted. We should also consider, where verifiable, noting who are practising Jews like Kripke and who are Hebrew Atheists like Kuhn. Nick (talk) 02:53, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think that one' sharing AT LEAST TWO of the criteria for inclusion as 'Jewish American philosophers' -
(1) practicing or writing philosophers
(2) who are at some point Americans who could be called 'Jewish' by any of the ways a person can rightfully be called 'Jewish'
