edit on "SS Mary Ball"

[edit]

my grandfather shipped to Karachi on the "Mary Ball," and on his return voyage the GIs shared space on the ship with a load of P-51s. The ship description has been amended to reflect this, listing it as "aircraft freighter" as well as "tank carrier." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.199.7.133 (talk) 22:15, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, Canada?

[edit]

Is it too much to ask to mention the Canadian-built ships? And to mention the builder...? TREKphiler hit me ♠ 18:29, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If You had had a look in the general description of Liberty Ship there were 18 US buildes of Liberty ships, which were the only builders of that type. So there as NO Canadian builder of Liberty ships! Possibly ships were transferred to the Canadian Merchant Navy ... 80.151.9.187 (talk)
