Former Republicans

[edit]

Is it proper to include Denver Riggleman, a former Republican Congressman who says he has left the Republican Party over its devotion to Trump? He has endorsed Biden.

I think so as long as we note that when they left the party. I can see this list being 'conservatives' who oppose Trump 2024 at some point Superb Owl (talk) 02:35, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Are there still more Republicans for Kamala Harris? 174.235.80.138 (talk) 00:21, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

people who changed their support

[edit]

Should we list people who have previously said they opposed Trump's 2024 run, but later went on to endorse him? For example, Noem opposed him in 2022, but later endorsed him in 2024. 2600:1702:4E36:6110:0:0:0:60E (talk) 01:48, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The Bushes still oppose Trump. 174.235.49.37 (talk) 00:06, 29 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Too many images

[edit]

Not sure what the criteria is for including an image for someone but there are currently far too many compared to the length of the list. DukeOfDelTaco (talk) 22:21, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Update for general election?

[edit]

Propose creating a section of those who opposed Trump in the primaries and a section of those who oppose Trump in the general election. Thoughts?
Actually it looks like that is what this list is. I propose removing primary endorsements so it does not look like this list is outdated when it seems that everyone that I have checked does not plan to vote for Trump in the general Superb Owl (talk) 00:16, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Former Republicans 'Section' Perhaps? Ex: Gary Johnson

[edit]

Many have left the Republican party due to Trump's hijacking (but still hold Republican ideals). For example: While he is now Libertarian, Gary Johnson was a Republican during his Governorship of New Mexico. He's spoken out against Trump adamantly. Food for thought. Thanks for considering. 173.207.109.178 (talk) 16:09, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
