Article name
[edit]IMO, the name of this article is not just ambiguous, but the word "people" is less than encyclopedic. I feel that the article title should assert the notability - i.e. "List of notable Saint Joseph's..." - but the word "people" should be substituted. Booglamay (talk) 00:24, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Needs better/more sections
[edit]First, I agree with the comment above that "notable" should be in the title or subtitle. Second, there are not enough sub-heads. It should be more like this outline of people for a major university:
1 University presidents 2 Notable alumni, professors, and staff 2.1 Arts and entertainment 2.2 Athletics 2.3 Business 2.4 Education 2.5 History 2.6 Military 2.7 Philosophy 2.8 Politics, law, and activism 2.9 Science, medicine, and technology 2.10 Other 3 References — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ed Gris (talk • contribs) 17:57, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

Title change
[edit]Even though no change was ultimately made, i agree with previous editors re the current page title-it isn’t encyclopedic or clear. I suggest it be changed to “List of notable faculty and alumni of St. Joseph’s University”, or something along those lines. OgamD218 (talk) 03:47, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
- Since no other editors have voice any objections-and those who weighed in in the past all agree, I am going to go ahead and make the change. OgamD218 (talk) 04:50, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
