Thoughts

[edit]

A couple ideas, do with as you please: 1) Put a photo of a TB in the chart instead of the quarter? 2) Keep the quarter -- elsewhere-- Create another chart of symbolic stuff-- the two state quarters with horses on them, as well as the coats of arms, and possibly whatever other symbolic designations that appear in other states. Or, you could also (or instead) create a new heading for the discussion of the horse as a part of various state symbols, commemorative coinage, etc... just ideas. Two thoughts

[edit]

1. Why does it say, "racecourses" when racetracks is the American term? And 2. We have better pictures of Quarter Horses (some of Atsme's!). If nobody objects, I'll change both. White Arabian Filly Neigh 23:13, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Post your suggestions here; I think one issue is getting body shots of horses facing left that look good at the small size; but yeah, if there are better ones, I'm in. I think that "racecourse" was a deliberate choice because that particular use is for the east coast, where you do see the term used sometimes (also, things like steeplechasing and turf tracks are sometimes called "courses" even in the states...)
