Opinion change
[edit]Washington Post correspondent and editor Robert McCartney has decide to drop any further protest in light of the May 2016 poll results.[1] --WriterArtistDC (talk) 01:50, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
Where is the list of people of advocate keeping Redskins?
[edit]Wikipedia is showing its left-wing bias once again by only listing those opposed to the nickname REDSKINS. There should be a list of people who SUPPORT this name. I have had it with Wikipedia's left-wing agenda. So much for neutrality. DavidSteinle (talk) 22:35, 9 September 2016 (UTC)
- A few months ago the main article Washington Redskins name controversy underwent a major re-write to bring it to Good Article status. The list of change advocates is so large it was split into this article. There is nothing stopping anyone from making a list of advocates for keeping the name, but it would be very short given the small number of individuals who have made statements in reliable sources. Neutrality emerges from a reliance on reliable sources, which is particularly important in editing controversial topics.
“It is a well known fact that reality has liberal bias.” ― Stephen Colbert
